A raw aesthetic for furniture pieces that are naturally beautiful. Each piece is handcrafted and embraces the natural grain and texture of the wood. Made from Recycled Teak these pieces will have small patches, textures and imperfections that are all part of the process and add to their unique rustic character.

This piece comes in a raw finish. The natural oil present within teak wood offers it protection from pests such as termites. For moderate cleaning, we recommend warm soapy water, or if needed a deeper clean a light sand with coarse sandpaper along the grain of the timber could be necessary. Teak has a golden honey colour when newly made, but after time it naturally fades into a pale grey patina with natural splits & added texture. This colour & texture change is only cosmetic and does not affect the strength of the wood. If you like to protect the surface of the wood, and slow the natural ageing of the wood there are a couple things you can do.
For Outdoors: We recommend ‘Semco Teak Sealer’ if you'd like to maintain the natural honey colour a little longer & protect the surface from spills and marks. This is only needed seasonally in order to effectively protect teak wood from colour fade. And if later you decide to let the furniture fade naturally to grey, teak sealer treatments can simply be discontinued. After not applying sealer for a while, the wood will simply begin to age as before.
For Indoors: We recommend ‘Feast Watson - HARD WAX in Natural’ if you'd like to maintain the natural honey colour & protect the surface from spills and marks. This is only needed once a year in order to effectively protect the surface.
